How To Enable Two-Step Verification in WhatsApp

In recent update, WhatsApp has enabled Two-Step Verification for all their iOS, Android and Windows users. Last year WhatsApp has introduced the most expected end-to-end encryption for all their users. It should be noted that, this Two-Step Verification feature was started testing since last November.

The user will need to enter a Six-digit pass-code created using the Two-Step Verification, while verifying their phones. The user will also have the option to enter their email address, after enabling this feature. It'll be used to disable the Two-Step Verification of your WhatsApp account in case you'd forgotten your Six-digit pass-code, by sending a link to your email address.

You should also note that, with Two-Step Verification enabled, you will not be permitted to re-verify on WhatsApp within a week of last using the service without the Six-digit pass-code. Also, to help you to remember the pass-code, WhatsApp will periodically ask you to enter your Six-digit pass-code.

To Enable Two-Step Verification:

In order to enable Two-Step Verification, you need to update your WhatsApp application to the latest version.

Now, go to the setting and look for the Account option then select Two-Step Verification and enable the option.
